From the 26th to the 29th of May, Marc de Gouvenain with his two caps of Pontas (literary agent and writer), attended the famous festival Étonnants Voyageurs in Saint Malo, in France. A perfect place to meet editors as Anne Marie Métailié, so happy now that the launching of Olivier Trucs' Le Dernier Lapon comes closer (Fall 2012), and others as Maggie Doyle, Béatrice Duval or Francis Geffard.
Invited himself as a writer, Marc enjoyed particularly this years' festival as he could participate in different debates, share a one hour radio program with Egyptian author Alaa El Aswany, but also see the positive results of several years of contacts and efforts culminate in the invitation this year by the festival of some writers from the South Pacific (Chantal Spitz, Moetai Brotherson, Patricia Grace and Alan Duff, among many others), whom he knows quite well since he published their books or met them 'down under' in Australia and New Zealand or in literary festivals in Tahiti and New Caledonia.
