After many months of conversations and interesting offers received from several different film production companies, finally film rights of Milena Busquets’ novel También esto pasará (This Too Shall Pass) have been acquired (through the Pontas Agency) by Buenos Aires-based Burman Office, with Daniel Burman producing and a reknowned scriptwriter and director to be announced soon. «We love the project and we’ll undoubtedly make a great movie together», Daniel Burman said.
Daniel Burman is an Argentinian film director, screenplay writer and producer. Burman's films have been featured in many film festivals around the world. El abrazo partido (The Lost Embrace, 2003) won the Grand Jury Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival, as well as Best Actor for Daniel Hendler. Burman was co-producer of the successful film The Motorcycle Diaries directed by Walter Salles (2004). In May 2015 he launched development-screenwriting company Burman Office, a major Latin American hub for fully developed narrative content for film and TV.
