How Much does a Human Head Weigh?
Diary of a virus crowned by fear
How much does a human head weigh? Is not your typical pandemic diary. It is actually an extensive and unique poem split by date headings in which Alfonso Armada constructs a dialogue of familiar and very dear interwoven voices: Celan, Glück, Weil, Mandelstam, Carson, Ajmátova, Cioran, Forché… fragments of poems that accompany the author to think and ask oneself what we feel exactly in this morbid and mortal present moment. A part from these poetic voices, music and a both collective and individual mnemotechny are also heard in those 50 days of lockdown, from Sunday March 15th to Sunday May 3rd.
