Jill Johnson
Jill Johnson has lived in South East Asia, Europe and New Zealand. She obtained a B.A. Degree in Landscape Design. She has previously owned an editorial cartoon gallery, a comic shop and has been involved in a graphic novel publishing house. She is a Faber Academy graduate and now lives in Brighton. She is the author of the debut novel The Time Before The Time To Come which follows a woman’s journey as she rediscovers her Māori heritage. Devil's Breath, the first book in the Professor Eustacia Rose series, was a BBC Between The Covers Bookclub pick, an Amazon bestseller and a finalist for the 2024 Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Novel and Best First Novel.
