Isolda Patrón-Costas
Born in Barcelona, Spain (1974) and educated in the USA, Germany, and Scotland, Isolda Patrón-Costas currently resides in Madrid. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication, a Master's in Film Production, a Master's in Film and TV Screenwriting, a Master's in Photography, and a Master's in Narrative Writing (from the Escuela de Escritores de Madrid). She balances her writing with her professional career as a film production director.
In 2022 she published her first novel, Amargosa, with Tres Hermanas Editorial, after being a finalist for the 2021 Felipe Trigo Novel Prize. She also secured third place in the 2022 Premier Roman Award (Chambéry, France) for Best Debut Novel.
