(Estate of) Maria Àngels Anglada
Maria Àngels Anglada (1930 - 1999) was one of the most important 20th century Catalan writers. Anglada gained the literary recognition of the readers and the critics with the Josep Pla Award, received in 1978 with the publication of her first novel: Les closes. Throughout the years, she became one of the most prestigious and widely-read Catalan writers. Maria Àngels Anglada is also the author of numerous novels, essays and poetry books. Anglada was awarded with the Octavi Pellissa Prize for her posthumous short-stories book A Night in 1911.
